Default Improve AI for the Allies in GW:EN

The allies you get in some quests/missions/dungeons have poor AI. Playing as a caster, you'll be sitting there wanding the hell out of a foe and the allies just sit there.

Only way for them to start fighting is if the caster runs in close to the battle.

They should just start fighting when you attack.

Simply set them to attack or Ctrl+Space bar to ping your target, that will auto make them focus on your target and/or start attacking

Some of the new skills the AI is not recognizing to use in battle. I have to do it manually at all times...

specifically any Monk hero with Spotless Mind or Spotless Soul

I thought they would eventually catch on I want them to use those for Removing hexs and conditions but they never seemed to learn what I was trying to do with them... I basically had to keep my hero skill bar open and really work 2 skill bars to death if I wanted them to use them efficiently...

I'm sure this was an oversite on the Monk AI for not selecting it when needed since it is a preview skill. Hopefully it will be updated when it goes gold next month.
